How to reduce health care costs. - swampy - 04-08-2013 I found this 8 minute video amazing. If this is our medical future, we need to jump on it. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=r13uYs7jglg Think of how much money we could save in medical testing if these devices were implemented ASAP. Re: How to reduce health care costs. - $tevie - 04-08-2013 I'm sorry to be silly on a serious thread, but at first I thought your headline was "How to reduce health care posts" and I was like That Would Be Very Cool. As the wife of a heart patient, I find that story pretty exciting. Re: How to reduce health care costs. - cbelt3 - 04-08-2013 No utube access.... any text descriptions ? I assume we're talking about some sort of implantable measurement system. That stuff is way cool tech. Heck.. heart monitors are cool tech... Saving thousands of dollars on standard tests. Test any time, any where for just a couple hundred dollars for the device. Re: How to reduce health care costs. - $tevie - 04-08-2013 The glucose count without a finger stick would be great for a couple of friends who never check their glucose. It's very worrisome to me because my brother-in-law died as a result of not monitoring himself. Re: How to reduce health care costs. - cbelt3 - 04-08-2013 Ah. thanks. I love that. I actually worked on software to automatically read CT scans and provide guidance for brain cancer diagnoses. In 1974. Bioinformatics and automated detection of outlier conditions have existed for a LONG time. Consumerizing them is awesome. |
