Followup to previous HAM thread - davemchine - 07-25-2013
I had a really good response to my previous thread regarding ham radio operators. http://forums.macresource.com/read.php?1,1588540,1588557 . Most people seem to have fallen out of the hobby but not all.
Tonight I learned how to program my Yaesu FT-60r handheld using a software program called Chirp http://chirp.danplanet.com . It took me a bit to figure out but not I have it down. I can image the settings of one radio and write them to my second radio. Very nice.
I'll be playing with this more in the future. Lots of fun.

Not sure what your post has to do with my thread. I think it's pretty cool to have software that can program a ham radio.
