Sadly, two of my children insist on having music while they shower. I don't understand it. And I'm always worried they will water damage their Macbooks or iPhones.
Singing in the shower is bad enough. Get in. Turn on the water. Get wet. Turn off the water. Suds up. Turn on the water. Rinse off. Done.

if it means anything, I used to do this as a teen and outgrew it...who knows why I did it..weird.

I have speakers in my bathroom so that I can listen to podcasts while getting ready for work. I haven't used them since my boy was born though. The last thing I want to do is wake him up any earlier than necessary.

Nothing wrong with listening to some music while showering. I usually skip it -- I like to do a quick in & out shower -- but sometimes I'll stream one of the JazzRadio.com stations. Or tune in to the local classical station.
I have a little Tivoli radio with a 1/8 plug; small and battery-powered; sits on a shelf away from all water. No danger there. (We also have a little Logitech Bluetooth speaker for streaming but tend to use the Tivoli more.)
