It was a great day for the parade and the game. The Public Storage float was the best I have ever seen. The bands really got some play time for the cameras for a change.
Great game played in a wonderful setting to a packed crowd. The win by the Spartans should warm up Michigan a little, they earned it.

MSU thoroughly outcoached Stanford. Playcalling in critical situations has long been David Shaw's weakness (and Jim Harbaugh's before him), but the plays he chose to run yesterday with the game on the line… unbelievably awful choices.

Silencio, even as a Michigan State fan, I agree. On the previous 4th down (not the final play), he called a timeout then proceeded to run up the middle which has been a strength of the MSU defense all season. We were amazed. Myself and others said out loud "you called a timeout for that?"
On the final 4th down, at least it was a specific play they had success with every time they ran it previously (or so I read). But the earlier 4th down was nothing but a regular run up the middle.
