Navigating AppleTV - davemchine - 01-02-2014

I have an extensive video library and navigating to what I want can sometimes be time consuming. Especially for tv shows where each season is listed separately. I use the IOS Remote app for music but it doesn't navigate video very well. Is there a better way? Bluetooth keyboard?

Hmm ... You know that TV shows can be tagged to group into seasons, yes?

I use playlists in iTunes to stream my 2000+ video library.

So, in iTunes you'd create a playlist (e.g. "cartoons") and they'll show up where on the ATV? In Movies or in Music?

If you create the playlist and then add mp4 files, the playlist with the selected mp4s will appear either in Movies (iTunes10 server) ; Movies or Home Movies (iTunes 11 server).
