Anyone get their $25 Vivotek camera's? - davemchine - 01-02-2014

Using IP Scanner Home edition I was able to find the IP address of the camera while plugged into an ethernet switch. I'm able to access the settings using a web browser but so far everything is in what I'm guessing is french...

Ok, some more success. Using SecuritySpy and choosing camera type of PZ6112 I now have video. That's good progress. Not sure how I'm going to get wireless working with the french screens though...

Well, I can't read french, I can't guess how to configure the wifi, so that makes this camera a great wired security camera. Or useless to me but I guess I took the chance for $25. Back into the box it goes for now. Maybe I could ebay it. Not sure I'd feel right about that with the french problem.
