Finder Question - August West - 01-02-2014 I've been going through many files recently using the finder's 3 paned window. I adjust the panes' width to clearly see the file names, however, when I close and reopen the window, the width changes don't stick. Is there a technique to make that happen? TIA Re: Finder Question - davemchine - 01-03-2014 In OS9 windows opened and closed in the exact same position and size they previously held. I'm not sure why OSX hasn't adopted the same concept. I'm constantly re-sizing windows and moving them around. You might look at http://cocoatech.com/pathfinder/ which is a finder replacement. Or utilize Mountain Lion's tabbed finder feature. I've found that alleviates most of my frustrations with finder windows. Re: Finder Question - August West - 01-03-2014 Thanks, I have Pathfinder, I'm going to give it a try. |
