I do like that most of the video was done in a single tracking shot...always a sucker for those.

Very cool... Lead girl has a lovely voice.

Also love the original, and yes, it was awesome because it was one long shot. Gotta wonder how many takes it took!

A) I had never heard of the "Cup" Song before.

B) That was bloody brilliant. All this morning I've been thinking about Staten Island, instead of that other Island a cupla thou miles East.

A Again) Just before I retired, we had an incredibly cute and bright intern who took a shine to me. We got to taking lunches together, and the last time she took a couple of cups and did this "thing" with them. I was somewhat amazed, but just before I could ask what "that" was all about, a Person from Porlock interrupted us with questions about Radiation Safety Procedures, and by the time I was finished, she was gone.

It looks like this was created by TG Lurgan, an Irish bandcamp. This is their take on "Some Nights" by Fun!

You may, or may not, be entertained by the movie "Pitch Perfect".
The "cup song" plays a small part. And it's a fun movie.

The cool thing about the cups song is that it's her real voice. She's performed it live on several occasions with no enhancement and it sounds much the same. How many young stars would be able to sound that good without autotune?

Definitely... Anna Kendrick has a terrific voice! She (and the rest of the cast of that movie) did a terrific job. One of those movies I didn't expect to enjoy nearly as much as I did.

I thought this was going to be a Gaelic version of "Red Solo Cup"
