Happy Easter to one and all ~!~
We stayed at home and spent a quiet day.
No Jelly beans or chocolate bunnies . . .

And no flagellation *(:>*

Re: Happy Easter! - JoeM - 04-20-2014

Happy Easter, all!

Re: Happy Easter! - GuyGene - 04-20-2014

Yes, Happy Easter to us all!

Happy Easter!

Easter has the strangest of all our holiday rituals, IMO. Dyeing eggs, hiding them for a hunt for the kids, Easter baskets full of chocolate goodies, all as a religious celebration. Seems rather cult-like, doncha think?

What do they do in Japan, GuyGene? Philippines, haiku man?

Yep, by far one of THE strangest. considering what it's supposed to celebrate or remember, it's totally out to lunch.

Christmas too, IMO, but at least there's no BUNNY...

I guess flying reindeer and elves make up for that..plus Santa's IMPOSSIBLE schedule.

Easter is rather barbaric and ugly in the Philippines.
