Looking for legit Adobe CS1 Standard (Full) to purchase - smacks - 08-14-2006 Searching for Adobe CS1 Standard full version, and looked at all the usual legitimate resellers — nobody has it in stock anymore. Does anybody know of any other trustworthy sources? TIA, J Re: Looking for legit Adobe CS1 Standard (Full) to purchase - papercup - 08-14-2006 Just curious, why not CS2? And you know that CS3 is only 6-8 months from shipping? Re: Looking for legit Adobe CS1 Standard (Full) to purchase - Silencio - 08-14-2006 I wouldn't mind finding the same thing. I have a couple of clients who are still standardized on CS1, but are considering adding another design workstation or two in the next couple of months. We'd rather buy one or two more CS1 licenses rather than one or two new CS2 licenses, plus all the CS2 upgrades we'd need, only to face yet another round of upgrade expenses when CS3 comes out. Re: Looking for legit Adobe CS1 Standard (Full) to purchase - smacks - 08-14-2006 Yep - We've got 2 workstations with CS already installed, and working fine. Have to add another employee after Labor Day, and would rather just purchase 1 new CS1 license instead of 2 upgrades and 1 "new" full version of CS2. The unfortunate reality of small business... Cheers, J Re: Looking for legit Adobe CS1 Standard (Full) to purchase - Racer X - 08-15-2006 In the past, if you purchased Photoshop within X days of a new version, they would send you the free upgrade for a nominal sum (maybe it was $20 last time) I did this several times, but not in a few years. look into it. Re: Looking for legit Adobe CS1 Standard (Full) to purchase - incognegro - 08-15-2006 one nice thing about CS is the lack of activation required. |
