Remove irrigation rust stains on concrete? - h linamen - 08-22-2006

Our church has some rather severe iron rust stains on the side walk from irrigation. Anyone know of a good way to remove the stains?

A solution of Iron-Out should do it.

Don't know if it works on concrete but how about CLR (calcium, lime, rust)?

Oxalic acid does it, and is found in many commercial rust stain removers.

also used as a pool cleaner for the concrete lining. look for it at a paint supply store.

how about a giant magnet? Or is rust not ferrous, hmm...
