Orlando weather question - Racer X - 08-23-2006 when does it start to warm up in the spring? We want to spend a week at Disney World for our 10th anniversary next spring feb-late march, and we want it to be before spring break, but not too early either. What is the weather like in early-mid March? Re: Orlando weather question - Jp! - 08-23-2006 http://www.cityrating.com/cityweather.asp?city=Orlando Looks like April is the month it moves. Re: Orlando weather question - Spock - 08-23-2006 [quote Racer X] What is the weather like in early-mid March? That's our dry season. Won't you miss the rain? Re: Orlando weather question - rz - 08-23-2006 Early to mid March, you're looking at highs in the 70s mostly, lows in the 50s at night. Great weather for walking around the parks, but not really warm enough for any of the water attractions (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon or Wet n Wild). As far as crowds, March is a transition month. Canadian kids have their spring break in March, so you will get some of that crowd. And the snowbirds haven't begun their migration back north, so they're still around too. But all in all, it's an excellent time to come down here. Re: Orlando weather question - John B. - 08-23-2006 Also remember that "warm" is relative to what the weather is like where you're coming from. As a relatively-recently transplanted midwesterner, I wear cargo shorts to work almost year-round (because I can)...there are typically only a couple of weeks around January/February where it's really "cool/cold" to me. rz's advice is dead-on about the water parks, though. Re: Orlando weather question - BLeonard - 08-23-2006 It's hot here all the time. I have jackets from the 80's that still look brand new. We are lucky if we have a week of cold weather. Re: Orlando weather question - Filliam H. Muffman - 08-23-2006 Yeah, it looks like April would be a good time. Scroll down for the weather stats. http://www.city-data.com/city/Orlando-Florida.html |
