Can't charge through their adapters, which limits their usefulness somewhat.

Q: How about the power issue?
A: Functionally InfiniteUSB will be working like USB hub: power is distributed to multiple devices. InfiniteUSB supports 2.4A charging. You can use it on USB charger(wall socket) for charging multiple smartphones or tablets. For laptops, the USB power output is in 500mA or 1A based on the model. If you plug too may large devices(e.g. hard drives) to laptop, there might be a power issue. But it's due to the power limitation of the laptop. However, for most cases, like a mobilephone with a keyboard, a mouse, a printer and a flashdrive, there won't be a problem.
Q: Can the InfiniteUSB be used for data transfer?
A: Yes! All types of InfiniteUSB cables (lightning, micro and female usb) are designed and have been tested for charging and data transfer.
The issues that I have are connectivity issues. First, the female USB connector doesn't specify what kind of USB type it is, full size (doesn't look like it), or microUSB. Second, microUSB connectors are good only for USB 2.0, this will not be able to provide USB 3 speeds with external USB 3 drives.
It seems like its only purpose is to interface between cell phones and tablets to computers. I'm not convinced of the usefulness, especially not for $16-$20 per cable.

You can't charge the MacBook through their adapters.
