Need InDesign advice - importing photos - Lizabeth - 04-16-2015

I know there's an answer to this somewhere but heck if I can find it in the software or my Quick Start book (banging head on keyboard).

Is there a way to set up InDesign so when you import a photo it comes in at 100% everytime?

It's driving me nuts...

Thanks!

Did you check back on the previous discussion we had on this?

I don't get it.

Cmd/Ctrl + D to place
Select image
Click in Indesign file.
Image comes in 100% every time.

Deja vu!

I get the same thing, 100% every time.

The only thing I see that could change this is if you are relinking a graphic that was previously reduced.

Maybe click on the "show import options" in the place dialog box to see what it's doing.

I'll try this and see what happens...thanks!

If this is what you are referring to (you didn't say in the OP) then it's a preference. Hit Cmd + K and click File Handling. Then uncheck the "Preserve Image Dimensions When Relinking" checkbox.
