Need to shrink a .mp4 file by 25% - DavidS - 07-09-2015 I have an 8GB concert video file that I'm copying onto 32GB flash drives along with several other 4-6GB sized files. I need to get it a bit smaller to fit all on the drives. Is Handbrake the best way to do this? What settings can I change to get it smaller without sacrificing too much quality? Thank you. Re: Need to shrink a .mp4 file by 25% - bazookaman - 07-09-2015 If you video is large enough (like HD size) you can change the output dimensions in Handbrake. That makes a HUGE difference in size. Resolution is independent of bitrate. |
