IMO the Samsung/Seagate 2TB portable drives are better because they have a regular SATA 9.5mm mechanism in them while the WDs usually have a 12.5mm USB-native mechanism in them. The Seagates are more flexible devices.

Based on my experience with the cheapie WD drives, it may be easier just to drag your files directly to the trash can..... I'm just saying... :oldfogey:
