Saw Spectre last night in IMAX - Lizabeth - 11-18-2015
It was okay, typical Bond movie with gorgeous women as arm candy and not much else (Bring back Dame Judy Dench!!!!) Amazing stunts (suspend disbelief tho) If you are a Bond fan, you won't be disapointed
What's with the octopus stuff???? It was really really weird creepy (like skin crawling) in the opening credits. Ewwwwwwwww.
I have next year's Halloween costume based on the Day of the Dead opening scene in Mexico. It was worth going just to see that.
LOVED that they pitted Voldermort and Moriarty against each other. And we all thought that when they first appeared together on screen.
The sound was too high for the theatre and I sat with my fingers in my ears most of the movie. But that's an AMC issue.
Of Craig's 4 bond movies, I think Skyfall is the best with Casino Royale next in line, the others, meh...

I was underwhelmed by this one. It was OK. Cinematography was georgeous, as usual. Story was OK.
Daniel Craig was too morose. There should be a little bit of humor, in my opinion.
I liked how they tied bites from the last 3 into this story, and paid homage to Number One of old - the white cat, the torturous chair, the too much dialogue by the arch-villain...

Did any of you who saw it think it looked 'dull' or 'dark'? Not the scenes that were dark; the overall look of the movie. As in not saturated or with filters applied.
I didn't see this, but my M-I-L and her brother both said this, having seen it separately in different theaters.

I thought the whole thing was a snoozefest. There were too many absurd scenes, most of them completely disconnected from one another, and the acting and chemistry between actors was either wooden or overwrought. Can't we have an ounce of believability or a plot that makes a tiny bit of sense? The plane chasing cars scene looked more like keystone cops or goofy + mickey mouse than a Bond scene. Also, why is Bond always dressed up in a GQ suit and tie, whether he's in London, Paris, or a train stop in the middle of the desert. Utter nonsense. Sean Connery had this role in the bag. Craig is simply too smug for his own good.

Part of the problem is I feel that Daniel Craig's acting ability is very limited to start with. Bond movies have always had an element of "suspend disbelief" but the Craig ones take it to a much higher level (nose bleed).
Like the helicopter in the Day of the Dead part...wouldn't that copter have CRASHED before they were done fighting each other???? I thought that copters are very sensitive in the controls.
