basically from disuse, I think. sending vinegar through did not work.

Try using inkjet ink to clean the print heads?

Just kidding. I don't know the answer, but would probably use Google/duckduckgo:
Unclug Keurig search

Is it the water not making it through the system, or is there a clog in the cup area? I've had grounds get caught in that puncture point thingy before and cause trouble.

Ditto. Used a wire to clean out the needle.

We tried a lot of ways to unclog ours and were just about to get rid of it when we found one more idea.... Use a pin on the little holes on the bottom of the water tank area on the black plastic (I think, trying to remember, but it was unclogging a part that most tutorials don't talk about). Ours only gets used by company so it was definitely a neglect issue. It works great now! Still doesn't make great coffee but never did Smile

My wife's Keurig was making terrible noises, spluttering and spraying coffee all all over. I bought two products on Amazon that fixed the problem.

CleanCup Descaling Liquid for Home Coffee Machines

same here! (I use an AeroPress for my coffee.)

we never use it except for gatherings at our house.

I will try that method. I have tried the paperclip in the upper hole to no effect.

Recipe has the right recipe, lol. I called in to Keurig because mine wouldn't work, and this is what they told me to do, and it worked like a charm.

We had hot chocolate to clog the little nozzle thingy where comes out into your cup. That was an easy fix.

Don't give up on it. Vinegar in the tank and hold down both the power and brew buttons simultanneously for a few seconds and it will steam that vinegar through it's little guts and out to the coffee cup. Put some clean vinegar (or filter the cups contents) through it about 3 times, then rinse with clear water about the same amount of times. If you have properly cleaned the orifices with the paper clip you should be good to go. Also clean the seal at the top of the tank while your at it. Just like new.
