Yeah, I know, there's a blizzard coming so that means there is no global warming. :RollingEyesSmiley5:

Capital Weather sez DC area could get up to 30 inches in bands. Don't plan any picnics on Saturday, $tevie.

It seems almost every year scientists say,'Last year was the hottest on record'. That gets old fast. I prefer to have Rush Limpbaugh and the oil companies give me my climate report.

I have it on very good authority that the earth stopped warming in 1998.

I don't trust these reports.

This morning, they predicted a "light dusting" of snow for my commute home. It's now about an inch and they say there'll be another inch or so before it ends. The roads were not salted, the cars have compressed the snow into ice and with the biting cold it's just building up. Many of the roads in the area are nearly impassible and where traffic is moving it's not going much faster than 5mph.

Yeah. Roads are impassible with an inch of snow. Welcome to the DC metro region.

From the storm-track maps, I'm due for 2-3 feet of snow on Friday, but my office just over into the next state is getting 6 inches. I'm guessing that whatever actually happens it'll be worse than they're predicting.

Global warming? Yeah. Probably way worse than they're predicting. At least down here.
