Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2? - wurm - 02-13-2016 Frankly, I'm getting tired of constantly dismissing the upgrade reminder and of seeing that red badge reminder in the Settings. But I'd be even more annoyed if 9.2 created problems. I'm inclined to just go for it, unless there are strong reasons not to. Any problems folks are experiencing with 9.2? Re: Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2? - abevilac - 02-13-2016 I upgraded a few days ago and have not had any problems. Re: Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2? - mstudio - 02-13-2016 I didn't notice any difference. Re: Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2? - wurm - 02-13-2016 Okay, thanks. That may not be the answer in your case, but it worked for me, and I now have several working non-licensed lightning cables again. Let's hope they still work after I go to 9.2. Re: Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2? - sekker - 02-13-2016 I'll have to try the repair - only I'll use a wooden toothpick to pull out any lint than a piece of metal... I am so looking forward to the day when you (and people like you) will regret updating your iOS or OS X. I can't wait. That day can't come soon enough. (Sorry if this seems harsh, but I am tired of responses like these any time someone asks about iOS or OS X updates.) Re: Any reason not to upgrade from ios 9.1 to 9.2? - Bimwad - 02-13-2016 Actually, iOS 9 has resulted in better performance with each newer version, albeit with some devices more than others. |
