Every time I hear her on the radio, I really like her voice, but I have no idea which CD to get to get started listening to her.

Cool. I like her sound. I see she has a couple of albums on iTunes (and likely Amazon) for $5.99, look like "best of" compilations. That'd be where I start. Or check some out from your local library and preview that way.
