Making America Great Again - BCam - 07-14-2016 I'm curious as to why no one in the media has asked Drumph when the last time America WAS great. I mean specifically - like, you know, years, or administrations. And I'd like to know specifically why it was so great for the working/middle class. Perhaps the more conservative commenters here could help me on this. Re: Making America Great Again - Z - 07-14-2016 Since your question is rhetorical, I'll just leave this here. Trump is using the phrase "Make America Great Again". I would like to know specifically when, in his opinion, America was last "great". I would accept years, decade or presidential administration as a benchmark. If Trump's advertising slogan is asking voters to recall prior greatness, it would seem logical to know when exactly that target greatness is/was. And, once the target "greatness" era can be identified by the candidate, I would like to know, in his opinion, what made that specific time in history so great for the common/working class voter. Essentially, what advantage will the present day common/working voter enjoy when returning to that echo of greatness. Re: Making America Great Again - OWC Jamie - 07-14-2016 Sounds like another vast white ring conspiracy. A positive unifying theme must seem mightily peculiar to those who have lived like trolls for 8 years under a divisive banner. Re: Making America Great Again - Ombligo - 07-14-2016 I'm betting the gilded age, I'm sure Trump idolizes those great bastions of American success - The Robber Barons. Realistically, that question would require a specific answer, something you can never get from Trump. Re: Making America Great Again - RgrF - 07-14-2016 How can someone who doesn't know the answer to a question be expected to answer that question?
