NY Observer editor/columnist gets an op-ed rejected - RgrF - 07-16-2016
I originally submitted this piece to the New York Observer where I am an editor-at-large and a columnist on media and culture. Editorial decided it would no longer accept columns of this nature on this topic. I have the utmost respect for the leadership at the Observer, but I respectfully disagree with that decision. Anyone who would like to republish the piece is welcome to.
I expect Ryan will soon be looking for a new editorial hook-up.

I recently noticed an article, a ten or twenty-year-old interview, with The DON wherein he claimed to have not read a book in the last twenty years, he'd been too busy doing deals, making money and finding ways to rid himself of leeching wives.

These entrepreneurs have their own reasoning processes and although they're outnumbered by white guys with less than a college degree, they'll be augmented by women, degreed people and minority voters.
Undereducated white guys combined with evangelicals and Clinton haters will likely never cobble together a countrywide vote majority or be so geographically situated as to take the Electoral College vote.

Not sure how the man can plead and beg for his father to not vote for Trump, then suggests he vote for a third party candidate or stay home. That's potentially the same thing as voting for Trump.
