BTW, the actual story behind this is fascinating. Kathleen Kane was the first Democrat elected to the Pennsylvania AG's office, and came in on a promise to clean things up. She discovered a good-ol-boys network that (among other things) regularly exchanged pornographic and anti-woman email (thousands of messages) on official accounts and between powerful players in the department.
It didn't go well. She stepped on some pretty important and powerful toes in trying to clean the place up, and it sounds like she was torn to pieces in return for it. She brought some of it on herself, apparently leaking some of the damning emails and info that was obtained through grand jury proceedings.
Which again, is kind of funny - ever since Starr's investigation, the standard GOP modus operandi is to selectively leak protected info like grand jury testimony far and wide, to willing mainstream journalists, and (of course) to the vast stable of Drudges and similar right wing organizations. Kane made the error of thinking she could play this sort of game too, but the rules are different for Democrats and women, and she's being prosecuted to the max for it.
If you have 5 or 10 minutes, you ought to read about it.
