Towers of Wuxi, a county seat in Jiangsu Province....
TaiHu (Tai Lake) National Park.
Not to be confused with American concept of National Parks.
In China it is an excuse for providing a money making tourist/entertainment complex with natural features....
bamboo lighting sets the stage of being green....
Making sure we understand how green this is, a wall of bamboo lights at the reception area....
Unlike the Light Gardens of Yixing from over ten years ago, there is nothing subtle about this presentation....
Add a background of water...
And you get introduced to a shopping opportunity....
..with couple touches of buddhist mysticism...
This being Chinese theme entertainment we need more authentic touches, like a pagoda....
actually it was very well done, details matter....
cool woodwork....
and themed entertainment with fog machines and lasers....
dancing girls....
and leaf dancers...
doing very significant moves...
...whose significance totally escapes me, although I do appreciate their gracefulness and beauty ....
Meeting a buddhist version of Mickey and Minnie.....
A little girl is peeking under the cone hat of a gray monk to see his hidden face.
Note the LED lit begging bowl....
A range of buddhist symbols, with an appropriate music background, is displayed by dancing waters of the fan fountain, the hand of Buddha....
Traditional bridge...
The highlight of the evening, the rocking buddhist tower show:
preceded by their attendants, Mickey and Minnie enter the pagoda,
the doors close,
the darkened tower starts lighting up, floor by floor, straight up to heavens,
as red prayer flags unfurl, a gray monk shows up on every floor,
followed by dancing girls.
Then the top of the tower erupts with laser like, rotating lighthouse beams, projecting over the countryside.
Hundreds of iPhones and Notes are recording and WeChatting the entire spectacle....

It was.
there was a light disturbance on the right and unrelated security rope for a leaf dancer access to the left.
