For some reason they are equating large size with premium model.
That doesn't work with women either.
Except for maybe they are limited in production numbers - but then they could have limited production runs of every 7 model size.

Hey, you're getting a 6/6S Plus feature in the regular 7 now, you just had to wait two years for it to happen (optical image stabilization). So two years from now you can have a dual lens camera in your iPhone 9...

but then iPhone 9 Plus will cook breakfast and wipe butt, whereas iPhone 9 can't do that, so people will still complain.

For the same reason that in apple laptops, the fastest processors was always installed on the one with the largest screen.
