Water pick recommendations - gabester - 09-10-2016

Wondering if anyone here has a recommendation on water picks... I think I need to get one to help keep the teeth clean.

Have you considered a Sonicare brush?

I'm not opposed, but what's the clinical difference?

I don't know. I would think the Sonicare would accomplish a lot that the Waterpik did.

Used improperly, it's easy to damage your gums with a Water Pik. Talk with your dentist and / or dental hygenist.

No, it won't. It's a fine toothbrush, but it physically can't get in between your teeth and below the gumline like a water pik or floss.

In answer to gabester's question: I highly recommend a ShowerBreeze flosser. Basically you hook it up behind the shower head and have at it. No bending over a sink, no water going where you don't want it., no noisy device taking up space on your vanity & using up an electical outlet. Cheaper, too. http://oralbreeze.com/

They do make one that attaches to a sink faucet if you prefer. Using this REALLY helped my gum health. This plus a Sonicare and you'll be good.

Isn't there a cheaper Sonicare now that might not be up to speed with the original?

This looks like a great idea. Never heard of it before. Thanks for the recommendation.
