What I learned while flashing a Pioneer DVR 108 - Monster - 09-26-2006 With all the talk the other day about flashing a Pioneer DVR 108, I thought I might as well do it, it was Firmware version 1.14. So I tried, and tried, re-downloaded everything, tried again, wrote the command this way and that, WTF? Then I realized I had the Pioneer plugged into the USB 2 port, and I said to myself, "Monster, you dumbass, use Firewire and I bet it will work the first time" and sure enough, it did, 1.14 to 1.20 *%^^*(&*#@**!! All but 1 manufacturer uses FW as the primary interface. |
