Admit It. The Clinton Email Controversy Bothers You, Yet... - $tevie - 10-29-2016 ...You Don’t Actually Know What the Clinton Email Controversy Is The Clinton email issue is a perfect confluence of inertia, bureaucracy, and the limits of technology in government. It was a bad solution to an even worse problem. How do you marry convenience, speed, secrecy, and accountability into one streamlined government communications package? You can’t. Let’s start from the beginning. ... Let’s be frank, here. America is the number one military superpower in the world. Our national security relies on finding a solution to this critical communications need. That the acting Secretary of State relied on a private server to do her job-and do it better-should be scaring the hell out of all of us. But instead of looking at-and fixing-this monumental problem, we’re spending our time trying discredit a woman, who despite what you think about her personally, has actually been an effective and diligent public servant. The Clinton email controversy isn’t about Hillary Clinton. It’s not about classified information. It’s about how we, as Americans, adapt to the changing world. As the pressures of globalism escalate, there’s no better time-and no better person than Clinton herself-to mount this charge. She needs to do something about our communications problem, and we need to hold her to it. https://medium.com/the-curious-civilian/admit-it-the-clinton-email-controversy-bothers-you-yet-you-dont-actually-know-what-the-clinton-511dc1659eda#.yw6wdsgbs Re: Admit It. The Clinton Email Controversy Bothers You, Yet... - SteveG - 10-29-2016 A non-departmental email server, which was secure and never hacked ultimately means nothing. She's obviously the best choice in this election. All the rest is the usual Republican smears, lies and assorted garbage by the people who, by their deeds are dead set on destroying this country. Ever since Hillary Clinton admitted setting up a homebrew server in the basement of her Chappaqua home, one question has always hovered over the case: Did that system ever get hacked? On Friday, the FBI revealed that a hacker broke into an email account on that system.http://foreignpolicy.com/2016/09/02/fbi-an-account-on-clintons-private-email-server-was-hacked/ ![]() Re: Admit It. The Clinton Email Controversy Bothers You, Yet... - Onamuji - 10-29-2016 Bothers me less every time that I hear about it. Stirring a clean pot. There's nothing ever there. Re: Admit It. The Clinton Email Controversy Bothers You, Yet... - davester - 10-29-2016 They've had a lot of time to play with this email thing but the republicans have come up with nothing so far. Since they've got nothing are they going to start working on the Cheney/Bush/Romney/Powell deleted emails next. I think those might be happier hunting grounds. |
