That actually would work great. US government hires private companies to fix infrastructure, US government refuses to pay the contractors, BOOM, all kinds of money saved!

They keep building private toll lanes on highways around here.
Little or no maintenance on the public roads. If you want to save your shocks or avoid the traffic from broken down vehicles you need to drive the toll roads.
Prices are adjusted by time of day and traffic.
4 miles during rush hour can cost $16 bucks or more.

Thank goodness he's not promising Americans can keep their health care plans if they like them and lower health care costs. No one would be gullible enough to believe that could happen.

According to the latest estimates if Trump keeps his promises about health care, roughly 25 million Americans would lose health coverage outright as soon as his legislation passes, 5 million Medicaid beneficiaries would lose coverage over the next year and about 10% more Americans would die every year for lack of health care.
It would also add about $33 billion to the deficit just in the first year.
Small wonder that so many economists are pushing for Clinton.

Those are alarming statistics. THIS is what we should be discussing, not emails.

The Republicans in Congress were thrilled to give a lot in order to grant Big Oil the opportunity to export American domestic oil. But giving control of the roads to private entities, like the Koch brothers, would truly be their holy grail. Republicans have been trying to privatize roads and road maintenance for many decades because it is the gift that never stops giving.
