Just the wire BRUSH <Shopping Need> - Bernie - 01-01-2017 ![]() ![]() Of course I searched the Sponsors store. Most of the brushes from Amazon in the kits have really lame sparse whiskers. I want a little stiffer brush to clean the contacts on/of watch/computer battery terminals. Thank Ya Much! Bernie Re: Just the wire BRUSH <Shopping Need> - Onamuji - 01-01-2017 I haven't seen that sized wire brush broken out from the soldering kit. Could you use a fitting brush? https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dtools&field-keywords=fitting+brush Re: Just the wire BRUSH <Shopping Need> - Bernie - 01-02-2017 ![]() I got a PM from........... Well if I told you it wouldn't be private. A fiberglass brush was mentioned. This Dremel attachment is probably the way I might go. Get someone at work to make some exotic over the top handle for it. Re: Just the wire BRUSH <Shopping Need> - Racer X - 01-02-2017 Yes, a glass fiber brush is the way to go. Re: Just the wire BRUSH <Shopping Need> - 3d - 01-02-2017 Fiberglass scratch brush is what you want. $8.63 https://www.amazon.com/Scratch-Brush-Fiberglass-Colors-vary/dp/B0019V18D2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1483319395&sr=8-1&keywords=fiberglass+scratch+brush And one of those rubber bulb blowers too. Don't put your face all in there and blow. You don't want to risk getting a stray fiberglass strand in your eye. Re: Just the wire BRUSH <Shopping Need> - Bernie - 01-02-2017 Fiberglass can be nasty stuff. Eh. Thanks for the replies. Probably do both. |
