This issue had a handy kit for building a radar speed gun calibrator that could be used to generate false targets on the X and K bands used by police radar...:-)

I subscribed to it for years. Lots of fascinating articles. Several years ago I tossed all of my back issues since I was getting ready to move (along with High Fidelity, Stereo Review, Audio, Popular Electronics, A+, Nibble, Byte, InCider, and a bunch of others). I miss those times but we must move on. Undecided [I did keep my collection of Call -A.P.P.L.E.]

I remember R-E. Better grab them while you can, I missed out on the Nintendo Power mags, Nintendo had
them pulled I guess. I did get all the MacAddict's. I'm surprised Popular Mechanics is on there, the old
ones are great, the recent issues that I get through the mail are garbage, at least my subscription was free.
PM used actually have how to articles now it barely worth flipping through.

Thanks for the heads up.

Same here, at least for the electronics hobbyist and hi-fi mags. The computer mags, not so much…

I have that issue!

That was one good magazine. I never threw a single issue of it away. Their series on op-amps was particularly good.

Another online source for Radio-Electronics pdfs, as well as pdfs of its predecessor, Radio Craft, can be found at: AmericanRadioHistory.com

Not a single issue of Speaker Builder or Audio Xpress, though. I just tossed my stash this past weekend during a clearout.

Great magazine. I was too young to build any of their projects during the heyday, but I loved reading through the plans.
