I caught a glimpse of it last night. Never seen it actually. Now I'll have to.
But there was this 1953 Sunbeam Alpine. ..... Yeow!

Both are gorgious, unfortunately only the Sunbeam is topless.

I almost bought one, but ended up with a red 1953 Mercury convertible with duals and a continental kit.

Drove it back and forth from New Rochelle to Boston University.

When I sold it, people in town that I didn't even know would come up to me to ask, "what happened to your red Mecury?"

Nifty car, so I never regretted not buying the Sunbeam Talbot. For all I know, it would have been a nightmare to keep running in the days before "foreign" cars were widely worked on.
