good idea / bad idea - buying oakley latch glasses and getting progressive lenses - mattkime - 02-07-2017 I do a good portion of my cycling in the dark but its still wise to wear glasses to protect my eyes. I really like the Oakley Latch glasses but they don't come with my preferred lenses. I'd like a lens that goes from pretty much clear to medium level of protection. I have lenses like that on a $40 pair of glasses but they get scratched pretty easily. Can I get those lenses made at Lenscrafters or similar? Would it cost me an arm or leg? Re: good idea / bad idea - buying oakley latch glasses and getting progressive lenses - rgG - 02-08-2017 If you want transition type lenses, and don't want to spend too much, check out some of the online glasses places. Zenni offers a generic photochromic lenses, their version of transitions. They won't have branded Oakley frames though, so you would have to get something similar but not exact. |
