I agree with this.
But Wednesday's tweets, from his personal and official Twitter accounts, could benefit his family directly if Nordstrom or other retailers shy away from business decisions that might provoke public insults from the president.
"This is something that's totally new for our country," University of Washington political scientist Mark Smith said. "And we should see it as corruption of the highest order."

The right-wing derp machine is in full spin mode; trying to equate this with Obama saying 5 Guys had the best burgers, or Clinton eating McDos all the time.

I'm more concerned about the DOD renting space in Trump Tower, and Trump still having the lease on the hotel in DC despite the fact that he broke the lease the second he became President.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to call inappropriate tweeting "corruption of the highest order" when he is doing worse things when not on Twitter.

The article puts the Nordstrom attack in context with other things he is doing. It's ONE of the very corrupt things he is doing, there are many examples.

I agree - when it's public I would say it's "malfeasance of the worst kind" and quite possibly everything that is as yet undisclosed under guises of the 45th President's privacy rights prior to assuming the Presidency falls under the category of "complete treason."

Yeah, that's not gonna fly. There's no precedent for what he's doing. CREW says that Nordstrom could and should sue him. Ivanka's husband works for the White House, if Trump is attempting to intimidate businesses into supporting his daughter's brand, which financially benefits Jared too, then this could be the corruption that gets Trump in big trouble. (Since it appears he can't be impeached for being dumb or disorganized or emotionally unstable or just not doing the homework)

he used the White House twitter account to try to intimidate an American business for the for the financial benefit of his daughter and son-in-law, who also works at the White House

It needs to be rewritten, as the non-Twitter offenses are "below the fold" so to speak which makes it seem as if the author is most concerned about the Tweets.
