Perhaps missed this week due to the coverage of more important events, former Sheriff Arpaio's conviction for criminal contempt was vacated on Wednesday. He of course still claims innocence.

… he's not got a whole lot more time on the planet anyway. And he lives in the desert, so at least the transition to where he's going afterward won't be too difficult for him.

Judge Bolton has it right... a crime was committed, and another crime was comitted to force it to be set aside.
Just WAIT.. I fully expect a pardon for cash business to spawn in the WH.
