How to transfer a desktop picture? - clyde - 11-23-2017 OS 10.6.3 has a desktop picture that I don't find in Yosemite. How can I copy and transfer a desktop picture to another OS or computer? Re: How to transfer a desktop picture? - hal - 11-23-2017 Click on the desktop so the Menu bar displays the Finder. Choose Finder > Go > Go To Folder from the Menu bar (or press Command + Shift + G). Enter this path into the Go To Folder dialog window: /Library/Screen Savers/Default Collections there you will find folders with the pictures - transfer them like any other pic Re: How to transfer a desktop picture? - Ombligo - 11-23-2017 1. Go to anywhere in the Finder and open a new window within the file system 2. Hit Command+Shift+G to bring up the Go To Folder option and enter the following path: /Library/Desktop Pictures 3. Hit Return and you’ll jump to the Desktop Pictures directory, this is where all default wallpapers in Mac OS X are stored. 4. Use the same procedure to open the same folder on the second system, copy the image over. Re: How to transfer a desktop picture? - clyde - 11-23-2017 Thanks, hal & Ombligo. Mucho obligo! |
