I don't have the time or desire to try to unclog any of them, especially since I just bought a color laser printer. I'm done with inkjets.... mu ha ha ha.
Normally I would donate old tech, but I don't want to give Goodwill my old problems. Any thoughts ?

Put it up here in the For Sale & Free Items, and if there are no takers after a reasonable period of time, recycle them. We have a electronics recycling place close by that refurbishes and then sells some of the stuff turned in, but they recycle most of it.

Goodwill does refurbish some items and then recycles what they cant use. The refurbishing also provides some tech training. Lots of areas Goodwill has teamed with Dell and called their computer stores Computer Works. They also use the term Dell Reconnects. Goodwill has a lot of places to drop off stuff.

Call or visit the local Goodwill and ask if they will take them. BestBuy will give you a rebate for a new HP printer if you take in one for recycling.

Some old inkjet printers are great, others not so much... the ones w/ individual ink tanks are more likely worth saving, ones w/ multi-color tanks probably not as desirable... print heads may be cleanable, or replaceable which may add to printer's future life. If there's a way to keep 'em out of the landfill, that's a good thing.

Like Buzz said, if they are relatively recent high end photo quality printers with individual tanks you can probably donate them. If they are just cheapos take them to e-waste. What brands and models are we talking about?
