Ebay has an 'ebay bucks' routine - 1% of all purchases are rebated in the form of an ebay credit quarterly. For the next three days, it's been raised to 8%.
This is money to me since I use ebay like a lot of you use Amazon...

This is a targeted promotion. I'm never eligible for these anymore. I think I spend too much money, so eBay knows they have my business whether or not they send these.

Interesting - I got one in both of my accounts. One does all of the buying and one does all of the selling.
