The world is now dumber, but maybe a little less grumpy! Re: Harlan Ellison RIP - Robert M - 06-28-2018 Hi everyone, Many fond memories of Harlan Ellison. One of my favorite writers. A particular Harlan Ellison quote stands out to me: "My work is my work. It is my property... I'm a writer. All I have to support me in my declining old age is the work I have written. It cannot be bandied about and passed around on the Internet just because some pissant thinks he has the right to do it." I found that in the June 7, 2000 issue of USA Today. It's truth as far as I'm concerned. Robert P.S. Links to many other great Harlan Ellison quotes: |
