Confirmed.
I'm depressed not because of what Kavanaugh believes, but because the senators believed he was the right choice. There were other judges with similar beliefs, judges who would not have had to lie to be confirmed. Judges with spotless reputations. Instead the Senators chose to support a deeply flawed individual. This is just another step down the road to obscurity for the US.

Trump is going to be over-the-top obnoxious at his rally in Kansas tonight.
I guess a Democrat controlled House that will re-open an investigation of perjury is all we can hope for.

Or maybe enlarging the number of seats on the court to tilt the balance. The original number was 6; the current number of 9 was set in 1869.

We really need a term that means "Uncle Tom" but applies to women who seek the approval of men to the point of stabbing other women in the back. I've got a few ideas but they are all obscene.

Well, so are the women who practice this. Out here it's a congresscrook who threw his wife under the bus when the feds came knocking about him spending campaign money for his own enrichment. The old bags in "Republican Women's Caucus" stand behind him 100%. When the congresscrook launched a truly vile and racist ad campaign against his competitor - saying he is a Muslim who's trying to infiltrate Congress - these women cheer him on. They also need to be included in this proposed term.

I'll believe that when they start supporting those children with healthcare, safety, a home, a full education, and a number of other necessities to have a full, fulfilling life. So far it is more about controlling women then protecting children. Well being is more than being born.

Once a fetus comes to term and pops out, they don't want to assist feeding it or clothing it or housing it or doing anything to help it achieve adulthood alive and well and not in jail.
What they want is to convince the stupid in this country that the only thing that matters is abortion, and that it is worth losing all our existing rights as Americans to make sure that no fetus loses their non-existent rights.
