I don't watch or play enough to really dissect the action, but I can't really say their midfield coverage is that well executed.

France has had the opportunities but can't find the net. That is incredibly frustrating. To put it in non-soccer sports analogies - it getting the ball to the 3-yard line repeatedly and then not only failing to punch it in but missing the field goal too, or leaving the bases loaded in all nine evenings.
