Council candidate wants a White community - Ombligo - 08-24-2019

Seriously the racist pinheads are empowered and not afraid to voice their disgusting thoughts out loud. This time it was a city council candidate.

When asked about community diversity, Jean Cramer said: "My suggestion, recommendation: Keep Marysville a white community as much as possible."

She continued: "Seriously, in other words no foreign-born, no foreign people because of what, in our past, we've experienced it's better to have ... simply American-born. Put it that way and no foreigners. No."

There was an audible gasp from others in the city council chambers, ironically named after longtime council member who is a Syrian immigrant. City officials and other candidates denounced her views.

And this wasn't in the deep south, this was Marysville, Michigan. The city is on the Canadian border, north of Detroit. Maybe I should be happy that these bigots are too stupid to hide their beliefs. Let them speak out so they can be known and denounced.

Yes, the pinheads are feeling their oats. WaPo

”The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Mayor Theresa Kenerly allegedly withdrew the application of Keith Henry, a finalist for city administrator, “because he is black, and the city isn’t ready for this.”

... The situation was made more complicated by a longtime councilman, Jim Cleveland, who defended the mayor and said, unprompted, that interracial marriage makes his “blood boil.””

The owner of the Atlanta Hawks professional basketball team got in trouble for complaining that his team drew way too many black fans to the arena. He wanted an arena like most others where high priced seats are filled with mostly white faces.

Urgh!

She doubled down when the Port Huron Times Herald asked her to respond to criticism from the town's mayor pro tem, Kathy Hayman, who is from a racially diverse family.
"As long as, how can I put this? What Kathy Hayman doesn't know is that her family is in the wrong," she said. "(A) husband and wife need to be the same race. Same thing with kids. That's how it's been from the beginning of, how can I say, when God created the heaven and the earth. He created Adam and Eve at the same time. But as far as me being against blacks, no I'm not," Cramer is reported as saying.

Demographically, the city is supposedly 96-97% "white." (About 1.3% Asian and 0.2% black according to the stats I found.) It's interesting to see from the responses that what someone answers on a census form is so far from the whole story.

What this woman considers "white" is not the same as what others self-identify as "white." By Jean Cramer's standards, nobody on the city council is going to heaven because they are not from pure Anglo stock or they have relatives who "mingled."

We all came from Adam and Eve. So we are all the same race as Adam and Eve. Right?

What about American born kids of immigrants? What about American born African-Americans? What right does she have to decide who lives where? I only hope she is in some serious medical emergency some day and the only doctor able to save her life in ER is one of these immigrants or African Americans she does not want around her.

Racists use the story of Noah to say that those of other races are unworthy.

One of his sons walked in on him changing, saw Noah's junk and was cursed for it.

Allegedly, because this son had a bit of a tan, all dark skinned people are cursed to be lesser than light-skinned people.

The only way for everybody to be the same race, is to intermarry until there is no difference. To get to this perfect solution the object should be to marry (or at least have kids with) the most different person you can find.

Oh well, then, it makes perfect sense. 8-)
