What? no funds for Wall ! - samintx - 09-17-2019
The Defense Department has decided not to proceed with three border wall projects in California and Arizona, citing "insufficient contract savings," according to a court filing.
The move appears to be a setback for President Donald Trump, who has sparked controversy for dipping into Pentagon funds to build his signature border wall, though it's unclear what will happen to the projects listed in the filing.

I get the feeling the Pentagon has been sort of rolling its eyes and waiting for the boss to ask a second or third time before actually complying. Then slow-walking it for a bit longer to see if anything changes.

Of course, it'll all be someone else's fault when it doesn't happen.

Even with a GOP majority in both houses of Congress for two years he couldn't get funding. Of course that was the fault of the Democratic members...

They want it built. They hate brown people and are afraid. In their ignorance, they see the wall in cartoon terms.

I've been saying all along - all they want is to piss off liberals and the wall certainly does that effectively. They don't care about it otherwise. If congressional leadership, NYT and CNN suddenly demanded that Trump build a wall, Trump and his supporters would turn against the wall in a second.
