"I have no obligation to be honest with the media"

Hope he's reminded of this every time he's interviewed again, especially if he runs for the Senate.

Someone should have told the congressmen asking the questions. some of them seemed to take it personally that Lewandowski wouldn't say anything.

It was a perfect response in the era of zero truth. Like his former boss, anything he says is not to be questioned. People like him insist on having the megaphone but never the responsibilities that come with it. “Media” is a threat because it consolidates power away, by reminding us all of the lies.
Never mind that the math doesn’t work out, that lying to the media somehow isn’t lying to everyone. Fantasies are like that.
