TG... Wow. - sekker - 10-21-2019

Keeps getting asked by journalists to deny Russian support, and she cannot. She keeps trying to deflect to 'what she's saying'.

Just wow.

I think this story is about played out, frankly. Tulsi is no longer a viable candidate (EDIT: was she ever?), so we can shove her to the curb and think about more pressing matters now.

Agreed. Few if any are defining Russian “asset” and that matters, regardless of whatever she often manages to step into.

It’s a question of intent that matters.

It's not Tulsi we need to worry about. It's the Russians.

Given the depth of even public knowledge of the astonishing level of foreign interference being perpetrated, I would have to say any serious candidate who wasn’t both aware and able to provide a convincing narrative of their awareness of and rejection of any concerted efforts aimed in their direction bears a significant burden of complicity.

Which is rather sad, because now any underdog that gets traction is going to have to field doubt of how legitimate their support is, even if that support truly is grass roots. One more brick in the wall limiting the diversity of political discourse.

I agree this story has played itself out. Sadly the 'story behind the story' never gained traction.

Is there really that much difference between the two?
