Extremely low priority so it doesn't bog your other apps down.

If you have a very long backup history on your TM drive (years), sometimes it can take ages to sort through that before updating the newly changed files.

......Apple latest iOS 'disabled' background multi-tasking.......the updates allegedly fix it.....
