So long Kamala Harris? Major resignation that burns the bridge on the way out. - Blankity Blank - 11-30-2019 NYT via Yahoo News. Kamala Harris suffers new blow as aide resigns with scathing letter: 'I've never seen staff treated so poorly' “A blistering resignation letter from a member of the Kamala Harris campaign paints a picture of low morale among staffers of a directionless campaign with "no real plan to win" ahead of the crucial Iowa caucus in 2020. According to the New York Times, the sentiments expressed in a letter from now-former state operations manager Kelly Mehlenbacher were corroborated by more than 50 current and former campaign staffers and allies...” Re: So long Kamala Harris? Major resignation that burns the bridge on the way out. - $tevie - 12-01-2019 Kelly Mehlenbacher now works for Michael Bloomberg's campaign. Just sayin'. Re: So long Kamala Harris? Major resignation that burns the bridge on the way out. - vision63 - 12-01-2019 She's a cop that has mass incarcerated thousands and thousands of Black men and boys, tosses Black parents in jail and has slept her way to the top in addition to not being Black herself. Tons of other stuff too. That's the scuttlebutt. She has a bad character. It's important for all of the presidential candidates to be white anyway. Re: So long Kamala Harris? We have two of the least representative or progressive US Senators imaginable. Maybe the Harris presidential debacle will bring someone forward who can oust her, nothing but death or retirement will oust Feinstein. Re: So long Kamala Harris? With his cash and influence if he wants to impact the 2020 election he could throw his weight behind Bill Weld ... and just maybe pull a few Republicans away from Trump to create a few fatal splits. Someone once said that "Good is the enemy of Excellence". Neither of those two are even good. If you settle for less than optimum, you surrender to mediocrity. If mediocrity is your goal, you can quit campaigning - we're already there. Re: So long Kamala Harris? How does where Mehlenbacher landed impact that one way or the other? Re: So long Kamala Harris?
