Bought a 2 Gig Nano... - spacescape - 12-11-2006 For my wife for Christmas. I was at Costco at lunch and they had 2 GB Rev2 iPod Nano's for for $139.99 + Tax. So, I said "what the heck. It's a gift for my wife and I don't want a refurbished for her." 2 GB will be plenty of room for her. If she decides she wants something bigger in several months from now we'll get it for her and I'll take it. I think I'll pick her up an arm band so she can use it when she goes for walks and does housework. Heck, I almost think this makes my iPod photo look like an 8-track. Bill Re: Bought a 2 Gig Nano... - Zoidberg - 12-11-2006 Heck, I almost think this makes my iPod photo look like an 8-track. I thought the same thing; I got my wife an 8 gig G2 Nano (the black one) and it's gorgeous. I look at my perfectly functional (but almost full) 40 GB iPod photo and I'm thinking it's like a big cartridge for a game system. So 2004, eh? Re: Bought a 2 Gig Nano... - Chupa Chupa - 12-12-2006 Yes, SJ is a genious at making a 2 year old player look like it's prehistoric. I came across my original 5GB iPod the other day. Boy what a brick that think was, yet it was cutting edge at the time. Any, yep, nothing says "I love you" as much as giving a refurb. Smart move to get the wife fresh product. Re: Bought a 2 Gig Nano... - RAMd®d - 12-12-2006 I can't wait to see if we get new 'Pods for MWSF. The 8G nano is tops on the list, followed by an 80G Gen 5.5, depending on what may show up in Q1. |
