They only need claim they’ve been internally tested. The label (would you ever see the label??) must indicate it wasn’t tested by the FDA. There’s some 90 of these out there. She's basically saying that it takes years to perfect these tests, we're not going to be able to demand the perfect antibody test if we want it sooner than that. We also don't know how long immunity lasts, even if you do have antibodies. She's touting the RNA tests as our best option in the short term, they can give the most accurate picture of active presence of virus. |
